While most issues of child custody arise out of the parents’ rights, grandparents are entitled to certain rights regarding their grandchildren.  Examples of such rights include custody and/or visitation, in the event that one or both of the parents is deceased, or the Court otherwise determines that granting grandparents’ rights would be in the best interests of the child.
